Mindful Beginnings - Jan 25
Sometimes, when something goes well, you think it’s beginner’s luck. That’s exactly what crossed my mind in the exhausted yet joyful afterglow of our very first retreat at Urban Ashram on January 11. I was deeply moved by the experience but wondered if we could recreate that magic.
To my amazement, the second session proved just as inspiring—if not more. It feels wonderful to open up my home to such extraordinary people. What was once a personal and intimate space has now blossomed into a vibrant community of love, kindness, and shared purpose. The stories shared, the honesty, and the openness of everyone who attended are profoundly transformative, stirring my soul in ways I didn’t think possible.
These experiences reaffirm that mindfulness is more than just a practice—it’s a vital movement in today’s fast-paced world. Our deep, authentic connections with one another give purpose to our lives and remind us of what truly makes life worth living.
In the spirit of continuing this journey, I’m thrilled to announce two exciting upcoming events:
An Ayurveda-Themed Daylong Retreat with Dr. Sachin Deshmukh in March. This retreat will delve into the timeless principles of Ayurveda and offer practical, hands-on experiences to bring balance and wellness into your daily life.
Breathe Flow Meditate: A Yoga & Sound Healing Session with Anita Vasan, coming in April and June. These sessions promise a serene blend of movement, breathwork, and sound healing vibrations to restore your mind and body.
I look forward to welcoming you to these transformative gatherings and continuing to grow this beautiful community together. Let’s nurture mindfulness, connection, and purpose—one retreat at a time.
