Pamela Consear

Pam Consear is a teaching artist and “creative instigator” based in Portland, Oregon. She got her start as an artist and community muralist while living in Oakland, and welcomes any opportunity to return to the Bay Area where she has deep roots. Although officially an Instructor (at Portland Community College, the ReBuilding Center, the Portland Art Museum, and other venues), Pam considers herself a perpetual Art Learner. She thrives on the conversations that emerge when humans embark on the vulnerable act of art-making, and continues being taught and inspired by her students.

You can learn about Pam’s work at AllHandsArt.com, and via her Substack, Bravely Creating Together (https://pamconsear.substack.com/), where she explores how art-making relates to our messy and beautiful lives.

This will be Pam’s first retreat at Urban Ashram and she is delighted to share a day of low-stress, accessible, and playful art exercises with you!
